So Antarctica is this unknown place, always frozen, mostly devoid of life. My first time there I just took snapshots. Someone on the internet decided they were cool (Jeff from booooooom.com), and made some people believe I was a photographer, including me.
This series is from my second voyage: I structured my set, studied the lighting & props, got a better camera and applied method combined with chance. It’s painstaking to get the ice to move and shimmer like you want it to.
All this may be beside the point. But why go to Antarctica if not for your own discovery?
